I visited this restaurant on the 4th of July for breakfast with my family. While the exterior isn’t particularly appealing, the interior is bright and decently decorated. The space is small, with no seating inside—just three long wooden tables outside. The coffee was mediocre, lacking flavor and variety. If you’re simply looking for a quick breakfast or a sandwich on a biscuit, this place may work for you. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return here again, even though I didn’t try any of the desserts.
Came for a gourmet chicken biscuit, only to get a chewy fried thigh with overly salty gravy. Added the overly priced combo $4.20), only to receive enough tots to feed the birds swarming their patio and an under-filled cup. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, they are so far past stingy with silverware and napkins that we had to ask for the 3 total tiny napkins? for a meal doused in sauce. This place does not have basic restaurant customer service. I wish Chick-fil-A opened Sundays, but
I ordered the Hot Betty with an extra egg. The only biscuit option was sweet potato, which was fine by me. I found the biscuit to be good, but not great; it didn't have the sweetness I was hoping for. It was quite soft, making it a bit difficult to keep the sandwich intact. The ingredients were pretty good, and I really liked the sauce. It reminded me of Frank's RedHot—nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. The collard greens had a nice crunch, which I appreciated.
We're visiting from Florida and decided to check this place out because we heard it was famous for its chicken and biscuit sandwich. I have to say, it did not disappoint! The biscuit was so huge that I couldn't even finish it! It was incredibly delicious, and the staff was really friendly. Toni was especially nice and made our day even better! The service was great. The sweet potato biscuit was good. Bought the Stevie and Hella Fitzgerald combos. The Stevie wasn?t able to be completely eaten due to it being very salty. The Hella Fitzgerald was solid. It?s a bit expensive for what you?re getting. I remember going to Handsome Biscuit a long time ago and having a much better experience. I?m not sure what has changed.
My husband insisted we stop by this place on our way back from the beach. He had been there once before and claimed it had the best chicken biscuit he had ever tasted, and he wasn't exaggerating. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The young woman at the counter was incredibly friendly and warm.
We stopped by for breakfast on our way out of town and had a wonderful experience! We ordered a biscuit with jelly and butter, another with peanut butter and jelly, and the last one was a biscuit with bacon and egg. Everything was delicious and served with a friendly smile! We will definitely be back!
Ordered the Hella Fitzgerald-gravy, bacon, cheddar cheese, and fried chicken. The food came out like 5 minutes after we ordered, and it was just amazing. We are definitely coming back here. No indoor seating, but they do have outdoor tables and benches under overhangs. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Service and food were great! The cold brew really hit my caffeine itch for the day. The staff were really nice and the food was made fairly quickly. It was a beautiful day and the seating outside was really nice! We definitely want to come back again to enjoy!
