I wonder if the Harajuku Gyoza restaurant at Potts Point has some thing to do with the famous Harajuku Gyozaru in Tokyo.
The gyoza restaurant at Potts Point is beautifully decorated and is a microsm of the popular culture in the youthful Harajuku ward in Tokyo. I ordered the Nutella gyoza, pork and shrimp gyoza and yuzu wings. While the wings are poorly marinated, the gyozas are quite tasty. The Nutella gyoza is flavourful and sweet. I am sure it will change your impression on gyoza.
The sticking point is the price. $9 for 3 gyozas? Probably not coming again.
Das Dekor dieses Ortes ist reizend und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Mein Mann und ich hatten den gebratenen Auberginen und den drei Käse und Gemüse Gyozas. Zum Dessert hatten wir die Nutella und gesalzene Karamell-Gyozas, die schön waren!
Kummer
Insgesamt war alles lecker - insbesondere der Käse-Gyozas und die süßen Gyozas - aber extrem überteuert, was ein großer Bummer ist. Wir würden wieder gehen, aber nachdem wir etwas anderes gegessen haben.
The decor of this place is lovely and the staff is very friendly. My husband and I had the fried eggplant and the three cheese and vegetables gyozas. For dessert we had the nutella and salted caramel gyozas, which were lovely!
Overall, everything was tasty - particularly the cheese gyozas and the sweet gyozas - but extremely overpriced, which is a big bummer. We'd go again but after having eaten something else.
Der Ort ist geräumig und hübsch. Schöne Mitarbeiter.
Lebensmittel waren durchschnittlich. Gyoza fiel auseinander, konnte nicht mit meinen Essstäbchen aufnehmen und waren in einer Plastikschale in eine Plastikschale. Hühnerflügel war winzig. Teuer für den Abschnitt. Präsentation ist Null, da ich neben der Küche saß, und sah alle Gerichte so klein und unbeholfen aussehen.

The place is spacious and pretty. Lovely staff.
Foods were average. Gyoza fell apart couldn't pick up with my chopsticks and were dump in a plastic bowl. Chicken wings was tiny. Expensive for the portion. Presentation is zero since I sat next to the kitchen and saw all the dishes came out looking so small and clumsy.
I'm yet to visit the actual restaurant but was lucky enough to get my hands on one of their coveted Octodogs at the night noodle markets! Such a cute concept as made for great pics!
Little deep fried balls of bread and tasty sausage tentacles, and how cute are their little faces! Almost too cute to eat. Almost.
Feels like you are transported to Japan, the moment you walk in! (They even have the high tech Japanese toilets installed!!!)
Gyoza is our go to dish, paired with a frozen beer.
Finish it off with the raindrop cake, go on, you know you want to ;)
Friend ordered 2nd wine, server: "let's get f****ed up!"Well okay then.
Great dumplings/gyoza, but the open ones were really difficult to eat.
