This was my second Hard 8 BBQ Experience! This is in my opinion, the best place to get brisket. They will even throw in the burnt tips if you want or any other part of the brisket that you would like you just tell the pit boss. And he'll carve it foryou. The ribs are perfect. They do not need sauce at all. Even though if you put a little barbecue sauce that they have, andthat they offer, it's a heavenly rib experience. I had sausage, brisket, and ribs. And they give you huge portions, so it won'tgo hungry and you'll feel that you had a very good value for the dollar. This restaurant is absolutely amazing! As soon as you walk in, you see the menu board with all the options, most of which are prepared fresh right in front of you. I ordered the Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection by the chef Dillon, who greeted us with a smile and great professionalism. The steak was charred perfectly and mouthwatering. The baked potato and corn cob side dishes were also delicious, but the steak was unforgettable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back on my next trip to Texas!
The restaurant offers excellently cooked food with a unique approach to preparation and payment. They have a wide variety of BBQ options with a cafeteria-style set up. The atmosphere is enjoyable, with staff attending to your needs. Steaks are cooked to order, while other main dish meats are prepped in advance and served as requested, with charges based on weight. The sides are tasty, but unfortunately they were out of Mac and cheese when we visited. The chicken on a stick with jalapeños and onions was a bit dry.
My family and I were searching for a new restaurant to try, and we noticed a long line outside this place. We decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad we did. The food was fantastic. This BBQ joint is definitely one of my top three favorites. We ordered half a pound of brisket, half a pound of sirloin, half a chicken, and half a pound of pulled pork. Everything was delicious. 1st time eating here. The atmosphere was great. When you pull up, you see the smokers the wood they smoke with. They sell the meat by the pound. You Easley get way to much food. The food was delicious it had great flavor to it. I got the brisket, pulled pork, jalapeno sausage, smoked ham, ribs, slaw, baked potato, fruit salad. They also have a big pot of beans on the side, you can get as much as you want. It was a bit pricey but, will definitely be going back to this place.
What a gem! I've driven past this place several times and not really noticed it. Well, those days are gone. This will be a regular spot for us from now on. The food is great, the dining experience is fun, absolutely nothing to complain about. It's an interesting idea, and executed well.
