It is very disappointing to see what has happened to this restaurant. It is a beautiful establishment on Main Street with a lot of potential. I do not want to blame the young staff, as poor service ultimately stems from the owners. This morning, there were only two tables in the restaurant and yet my breakfast took nearly an hour to arrive. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, but it came out without the egg. When I requested an egg, I was met with disrespect. My coffee went unfilled and my table was not cleared. It is not the fault of the staff, they simply need better training. The owners need to make more effort in managing the restaurant so that customers can have an enjoyable...
We dined at this restaurant two days in a row. Our server was new, but very friendly. Unfortunately, on both visits our orders were incorrect. It's unclear if it was due to the inexperienced server or mistakes from the kitchen. We decided not to complain as she was trying her best. We were not happy with the fact that everything was charged separately. It's important to carefully read the menu as cheese and toast are not automatically included with certain dishes, like a western omelette. Additionally, to-go boxes cost extra, which we found odd. Despite the long wait times, the food was delicious, especially the Eggs Benedict. The restaurant itself was charming.
Had high hopes for this out-of-the-way cafe. Very disappointed. The place has only 10 or so tables. Should be easy for the kitchen to keep up. Our party of 2 waited an hour after sitting for food. Server said there were many tickets for take out aheadof us. Given the wait we seated diners experienced, I see why. Take out orders take preference over sit down customers I guess.Hardware omelette was bland. Coffee was lukewarm. Toast was cold and buttered only in the middle of each slice. Home fries werenearly raw. Not much to recommend here.
In the past a 5 star rating would have been given. However after this morning a 1 star in being generous. Menus and coffee were given after that a 20 minute wait before our order was taken. Had to try and flag down our waitress for a refill. After another hour checking our orders hadn't even been started.They were not busy. Needless to say we canceled our order paid for our coffee and left. Also the shorts our waitress had on were highly inappropriate for a family dinner her butt cheeks were showing. . The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. However, I would have given it a five-star rating if it weren't for the issue with the accessible entrance. As a wheelchair user, I found that the entrance was not very user-friendly. The door at the top of the ramp was locked, and once it was unlocked, it swung in the opposite direction of the room entrance, making it difficult for me to navigate through. This problem could easily be fixed by switching the direction the door swings in.
We were the only ones there, took 10 mints for sodas, then no menus, over 1/2 for 1 burger and 3 wraps. Mac saved was hot and mayo turned. Had to ask for silver ware. No watriss came and how this are. Food on menue no available. Took 10 minutes for bill to be written up. This place would do better if it had adult supervision. All kids running it. Not going back. We absolutely love this place. If you are camping in the area, you must stop and grab breakfast. Excellent food. Incredible and accommodating staff. Outdoor seating. Good coffee. Our kids are picky eaters, but the homefries were loved by everyone (even ifwe can't stop to eat, we grab homefries and coffee to go!
It's a cute old fashioned place that is kind of touristy and sells gifts , it was fun to look around . They got backed up the day that we were there and we waited forever for our lunch.
