First of all, I should start by saying our server was absolutely lovely. I didn’t get his name unfortunately but you could tell all of the staff were under pressure. We waited around 1 hour 15 for our food and this seemed to have been common as the server even said ‘if you’re wondering where your food is at any point, I’ll go and check’ so it sounds like they’d had a day of delays. Our breakfast with Santa experience at the Harvester was disappointing. While we usually enjoy their evening meals with fast service and friendly staff, our visit this morning was not up to par. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, we had to wait a long time for drinks, food, and had to request the bill twice. The highlight of our visit was supposed to be seeing Santa, but even that turned out to be disappointing. Our six-year-old left feeling like it wasn't the "real Santa," as Santa seemed disinterested and lacked the jolly demeanor we expected. Ordered from the menu 3 course for £14.99, I’m a vegetarian, asked for what I wanted none there. Made another selection waitress checked yes it was there. Getting salad and could hear the chief saying there was no vegetarian burgers there. Waiter came to our table to apologise, as there was no other vegetarian meals on that menu he said he’d do another for the same price. Asked what was available he read out 3 meals, choose the vegetarian chilli. When I tasted it, it had Jack fruit in which I don’t like so just left it, and had the jacket potato. Table was also full of crumbs. Can’t say I’d return anytime soon, staff were amazing though, very pleasant.
We were not really expecting too much, but they slapped the most beautiful, juicy tender rib-eye on my plate. The chef really knows how to prepare a steak! The rest of our group were similarly impressed with their meals. Sorry for the late review, but I couldn't fail to prepare a review for an excellent meal. Service was also ever ready, friendly but never intrusive.

I visited this restaurant a few days ago and tried the classic chicken and chips. It was cooked perfectly and very delicious. The staff, especially our young blonde waitress with a ponytail who looked to be around 20 years old, was polite and helpful. The salad bar was full and fresh. Overall, it was a lovely place to visit and I will definitely be back soon.
Very disappointing. Service was slow bringing the drinks. Ordered food then 15 mins late told they didn’t have what we ordered. So just ended up with a bowl of salad. Which they then charged us for. What a waste of time and money! Carpets need a good clean and just feels a little grubby in there. Won’t be going back again.
We waited for over an hour for our food and still hadn't received it, so we asked for a refund. They were apologetic for the long wait but did not provide a reason. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Meal with family, food was cooked well and the place and staff are pleasant but the food although cooked well was barely warm.

Great food and excellent service by Eirwen. Great atmosphere,clean and fabulous food. Thoroughly recommend. We'll be back!
