Amazing place and food. Staff were friendly and courteous. Quality of the fish and rice I tried beats many places in Japan so well worth the price.Takeaway options are great as well, get here early and plan for a crowd. I tried my two favorites, salmon and salmon belly. Both were 10 out of 10. The salmon belly alone is worth the drive and wait. You won’t regret it.I went on a Friday around 2 and there were maybe 2 seats available, which can’t blame them at all. When the food and service is that good it’s gonna be busy. My friend said on weekend nights expect to wait a good bit. But that just makes the food taste even better.
I was able to enjoy Hatsuyuki for the first time yesterday. Without exaggeration, this was the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life. If you haven 't eaten at Hatsuyuki, you are missing out.Put their address in your phone, get in your car, and drive immediately to Hatsuyuki. Everything else you 're thinking about eating right now is second rate. The favorite dish your mom makes: second rate. That burger you burned on your grill: second rate. The taco truck you just ordered from: second rate. Dump it on the trash. Drive, take a cab, flights are cheap. I don 't call it sushi anymore, I call it Hatsuyuki.
The sushi itself was of good quality, though I’ve had better elsewhere, and the hand rolls had a significant amount of rice compared to the fish. If you're in the area, don't mind paying a bit more, and have some extra time to spare, you may want to give it a try. The food is good, but it isn’t exceptional. The appeal of this restaurant seems to stem from its authentic atmosphere and the lack of competition in Fort Worth. However, as the city expands and more upscale sushi restaurants open, this place will likely need to rethink its strategy to stay relevant.
If you’re looking for convenient parking on Foche, it can be quite tricky, although you might get lucky occasionally. However, there’s a spacious parking lot behind Farrington Field on Lancaster that is free during the weekdays and costs $15 on weekends, including Friday evenings after 6 PM. Here's another 5-star review! Patrons begin to line up at 10:40 for a reason—the experience at Hatsuyuki is truly exceptional. This is a genuine sushi bar, and everything is top-notch. You absolutely have to give it a try!
This is easily the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever visited! I asked our server to pick the chef’s favorites for me, and the fish was incredibly fresh. Plus, everyone was so friendly. I will definitely return! Food: 5/5
