The Molokai chicken and Spam Musubi were amazing. The small chicken plate with the rice and fresh pineapple were packed with so much flavor and the perfect portion for me, but since I was extra hungry, the Spam Musubi was the perfect add on. For being a midwestern establishment, this stuff tastes as close as it gets to the real deal back on the islands. Ive missed Hawaiian dishes after moving away a few years ago, and didnt think Id get a chance to have plates and musubis like I had there again. Thank you Hawaiian Bros for this amazing food!!
Solid Hawaiian place, definitely scratches the itch. The Kalua Pig is flavorful and the various teriyaki chicken dishes are flavorful but both had a random tougher pieces. The spiciness of the Kilauea chicken is on point. Perfectly cooked rice Mac salad is excellent. Good spam musubi. Only wish there were some Korean Short ribs katsu chicken on the menu (Lau Lau poi is probably asking too much). Giving 5 stars relative to the region we apos;re in, will definitely come back!
I've never tried Hawaiian cuisine before, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but the flavors of everything we had were fantastic. We ordered the spicy Small Kilauea Chicken and the Small Huli Huli Chicken, along with some vegetables, and the portion sizes were great for being labeled as small. It was a delicious and satisfying meal, and I will definitely order again.
I was really hoping the spam musubi would be better. It definitely needs sushi rice to taste good, and I think they should offer more side options. Why is another ball of rice the default side? That being said, the flavor of the chicken is excellent, and the price makes it worth ordering again. I definitely plan to do so! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
