share a vegan sampler and added the mushroom shell that was under the vegan section and veggie called in the mushrooms there were several pieces of meat (something small, one about a customs), making me think that they are not particularly careful to ensure that vegetarian foods are actually vegetarian. must have been lazy to use a dish to heat the mushrooms that were disappointing and rough. the rest of the vegan food was okay, but quite lack of flavor or flavor. were in other, better Ethiopian restaurants in the environment. was a shame because I liked hawwi.

A little hidden gem in Old Town. Friendly welcome by the staff (and I believe family) who own the restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic . While the price may be a little more than other Ethiopian restaurants nearby the sambusas are larger and everyone’s meal includes water, salad and desert. Deserts vary,(not all vegan). Even without all the extras it’s reasonable and delicious . They also deliver through 3 rd party organizations.

this was a good, tasty Ethiopian meal. the price was reasonable, service was good and aromen were there. not the best Ethiopian I ever had, but certainly not the worst. I am satisfied and enjoyed my meal thoroughly. would definitely recommend it. my favorite was the chickpea sausage.

the vegan sampler is really great. the personal is always super nice! the atmosphere of the restaurant leaves a little to wish, but they cannot go wrong here for a fast and good meal.

everything was very fresh and delicious. we order the vegan sampler plate and share it and it was a lot of eating.
