A visit to Hazel's Take-Out is a must! My family and I stopped in on our way up the coast and were delighted by the delicious food and friendly service. I ordered the Lobster Melt, while the rest of my family ordered the fried clams and Hazel's Haddock Reuben. The Lobster Melt was stuffed with lobster and not overwhelmed by mayo - simply delicious. We opted for the garbage fries instead of the fries that came with the fried clams, and they were fantastic - perfectly crisp and flavorful. While prices may be a bit higher than in other parts of the country, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Plus, if there are no picnic tables available, the staff will bring your order out to your car....
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! Despite arriving on a rainy, dark evening, they were open and serving hot meals. We tried the haddock fish sandwich, which was excellent, as well as the incredibly tasty crab roll sandwich. Due to the rain, we had to eat in our car, but the amazing food made it a cozy and worthwhile experience. I highly recommend this place!
This place is great, if you can manage to get there when they are open. Food is always fresh and hot. But the hours cater to the visitors, not the locals. I would stop here for dinner 3x a week if they were ever open. Currently, it’s just a glorified, traffic-filled lunch-stop. I’m not sure how any locals with standard work hours manage to eat here.
Hazel's food was excellent. There's 4 of us. We had 1. the crab cakes 2. Lobster roll with butter. (2) 3. Fresh Maine crab melt. Crab cakes was excellent BUT next time would ask to take out the tomatoes. Everything about the food is wonderful. It is a corner location so atmosphere is little loud with traffic.

Came up from Boston on a bls transfer and parked my ambulance to get some food, and this place was amazing, the service was wonderful the food was delicious and the portion sizes for the price was incredible, 10/10 would drive 200 miles for this again
If you find yourself in Rockland, make sure to check out Hazel's. The food is amazing, the service is very friendly, the restrooms are clean, and you may even be entertained by the local crows. You definitely won't be disappointed.
very nice place to get away and enjoy good food. lobster roll is on point. the crew is friendly and brings you to their table or vehicle. the outside seat area is perfect to watch cars, past or just watch people.
Amazing food, service with a smile nothing more you could want from a little location on the corner of the street.
