This is where I asked to be treated for my birthday again this year because going there feels like such a special (and slightly pricy) treat. It 's not really expensive when you see the fresh, high quality ingredients that go into what you eat, though. In fact I ate here two days before my birthday, as well. For my lunch I had their new Thai Crunch Bowl, which is amazing that I ordered it again on my Saturday visit. The noodles are actually spirals of zucchini and the like. The cilantro, lime, and sauce give it a Thai flavour, and the fact that it 's served cold makes it refreshing on a sweltering day. I had the Iced Golden Milk. It was very good. We each had something from the dessert case....
I recently visited this restaurant with much anticipation and I was thoroughly disappointed. The location is great and the decor and seating arrangements are top-notch. Our ordered food and drink items were: Ultimate beyond burger, Melty mushroom Panini, Soup of the day, Walkerville craft cider, and Oxley estate red wine The food was awful and tasted poorly prepared unfrozen meal. The wine was of the same poor quality. My friend who is not a vegan commented how can you be a vegan if vegan food tastes like this. The only positive thing was they sold some good vegan cheeses and vegan butter. How can they sell and survive selling poor quality awefull foof !!!
Went for lunch and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had the rainbow Thai crunch and red lip juice...what a medley of flavours and that's coming from someone who has mastered bowls and juicing! I tried my friends' modern classic burger and pumpkin smoothie...wow! And the pecan pie was even better than the traditional pecan pie. The people were really nice...thanks Brittany they even have a shop where you can buy vegan foods, prepared or ingredients, to take home. Definitely coming back
We were visiting Windsor with my sister thought we would give Health Mama's a try. I guess we aren't used to healthy food. The only thing we had that was ok was the soup it was cold. When we asked the waitress if she could heat it up, she said some people like their soup cool. We found it very expensive, the food was lacking in taste the service was horrible.
Healthy Mama is a must stop for some delicious and fresh food. The employees are very welcoming and friendly. The quinoa bread is amazing!!! Also, after your meal you can head over to the store to purchase some yummy products. Love this restaurant since I have various allergies and they are very accommodating.
My daughter and I met friends here for lunch. We aren’t vegan, but we enjoy healthy, plant-based meals often. We split a big Greek salad and really enjoyed it. My daughter also got to try a cookie dough ball since it was recently her birthday and the server overheard. Great service and an interesting menu.
The food is made fresh and for someone with food allergies I must say ... I never have to ask about the ingredients or what I may be served. Clean atmosphere, kind and friendly staff. Very creative menu choices.
I love Healthy Mama. Great tasting high quality vegan, gluten free food. Raw food options. Oil free options. Who could ask for anything more? Comfortable atmosphere. Great service. True excellence.
I just had their tomato dill soup and it was excellent. The “Greek” Salad is unbelievably delicious and filling!! Very warm and welcoming atmosphere, love this place!
