Fantastic food consisting of Greek and in the Bistro- Chicken Souvlaki is AMAZING!!!! Lovely warm reception on arrival and fast delivery of food to the table. The only downside was the extremely slow service at the bar. By the time I had been served for the drinks our dinner was already on the table so I had been in line for around 10-15 mins. We have been there twice now and we will def be back! Kids have a great time in the playground, just wish some parents did watch their kids as the Friday night our little one was hurt. Lunch in the Bistro with the family to celebrate Mothers Day. While the food was tasty, hot and enjoyed by everyone in the party, the service standard left a lot to be improved upon. Servers were delivering food to tables, almost stacked on top of each other. Plate bottoms were touching the food on plates below, while servers tried to juggle way too many meals at any one time. One staff member spilled liquid on the floor, causing several other staff to slip. A plate of oysters was dropped on the floor, and at least 5 staff walked passed it, before a guest got up to have someone clean it away and wipe up the liquid.
I have commented previously on the superb Beef & Guinness pie at this place. It was a typical winter evening in Canberra when I visited on Sunday. I was directed towards the Chicken & Leek pie. Delicious! The pie had a generous amount of chicken, and the pastry was perfect. And it was piping hot.
Haven't been here for a few months and found the food hasn't changed at all. It's bistro fare with the usual things, roasts, steaks, seafood and the blackboard menu which has lamb shanks etc. Food is generally good for a cheap eat out.

We go here on a Monday for Yum Cha. It has a great selection of deliciousness. Service is usually pretty good and the price is quite reasonable. We've also had a few work farewell lunches here and had various banquets. All were good.
Good lunch , not crowded.toasted sandwiches and good hot drinks.underated,away from all shops and cheaper.large area and relaxing. Friendly other patrons .i got her free chips and maybe to paint her home.????
The bistro serves a superb beef and Guinness pie (my waiter says the chicken and leek is good too). Be early; it sells out quickly and may not be available for lunch.
A variety of restaurants, but if its dining on a budget. The bistro is value. Take a roast of the day and you'll be more than happy. Generous bar staff all good.

We had an early dinner, great choices with different menus. We opted for the Bistro, great steak, yummy seafood basket. Friendly service and yummy good
The Chinese restaurant upstairs... This is second time eating there, and it's just perfect spot for a family dinner.
