During our vacation from Dearborn, MI, we decided to stop by this place on Memorial Day while exploring the area. It has a charming local bar vibe, and both the margaritas and Bloody Marys were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The food was served hot and fresh; I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was made to order and came in generous portions. The 21 Shrimp basket was also tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed, but it was enjoyable to listen to the locals chatting with the friendly and attentive staff. We had a wonderful time!
Me and a couple friends went in never been there we sat for 20 minutes I was trying to order chicken strips the guy says I’m the only one cooking I got a few ppl ahead so we left and went elsewhere he’s slow af he walked past our table a few times it’s like he didn’t wanna be there ,he didn’t even asked if we needed drinks bring some better workers there he’s so rude to us never again
This is the WORST place to go! The bartender is so rude! He would NOT let us order food. He is so lazy!! Why do the owners employ such a crabby, rude bartender working there!! This is the second time in 6 months that we drove 40 miles to come and eat there just to be treated so terrible! Do NOT waste your time with this place!
This restaurant serves excellent burgers, and you absolutely have to try the renowned grilled ham and cheese. And don't miss the chance to say hello to Marilyn in the bathroom! A unique North-woods vacation find! It was make your own pizza night. Our party of 8 made the 26-inch pizza go down well. Many thanks to the chef for his extra 8-inch no cheese variety for our son. A loyal customer from now on. Wish we could be back for Italian night and fish fry night!!!
The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and has a charming rustic feel. This bar was originally constructed for the miners in the 1890s. I really appreciate the Marilyn Monroe artwork!
THIS is the definition of Americana. Burgers to die for, full bar, great specials, homemade soups! WOW. You never know driving by that so much yumm could be in such a place!!!

The bartender wouldn’t get us our Pepsis. Treated us like kids when we make more money then the bar. Bald head is a meany. I’d probably throw up on him.
