This review is for Henry's Soul Food Catering in Oxon Hill. Worst soul food we've ever had. We ordered collad greens. They were bland to say the least. No flavor at all. No pork or bacon or meat in them at all. The corn bread stuffing was a purplish muddy color and didn't even taste like stuffing. They tasted more like some sort of sweet bread pudding...yuk! The meat loaf wasn't meat loaf. They were like dry hamberger patties. There was more that we ordered, but everything was terrible. We ordered food from several other places and the food from Henry's was the only food we had left over and had to through out. Do not waste your money ordering from this place. They food is terrible.
This was my first time ordering from the establishment. They don't accept cash, and its posted. I order salmon cakes, greens, and potato salad. I was quite disappointed with the salmon cakes basic seasoning/slightly dry), Greens were okay, potato salad was good. I did get the peach cobbler good but very sweet). The staff was friendly. Overall, I'm not sure if I will return. Side bar, I should've gotten the fried croaker as originally planned Service: Takeaway

This was my second time ordering for from Henry's. A good friend of mine sent me there when I wanted some chitterlings. I was not disappointed they food, service and the restaurant itself was all good. Free parking and a clean restroom. I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes. I was here yesterday my mother had never had Henry’s so I was excited to order and let her try. The service here was amazing I loved the young lady on the register when it came to her enthusiasm and her product knowledge.
