I love coming to this restaurant for the vegan impossible tacos. They are incredible! Even though they are not listed on the menu, the owner and chef always have impossible meat available and are happy to make them upon request. There are other vegan options on the menu, but the secret-menu impossible tacos are my top choice. I constantly find myself craving them every week. I would give them a 5-star rating, but unfortunately, Happy Cow does not allow it because the restaurant is not completely vegan/vegetarian.
Super disappointed in this place. It was 2p on a Friday, had reservations and when I got there, there were a lot of empty tables. We were seated right away, however after being seated it took 20+ minutes for someone to take our order. The waiter stated that they were not aware that we were there. After ordering it took 30+ minutes to get our food. We had a total of 3 sandwiches and 2 side of fries. Food was decent but would definitely not recommend. Horrible service.
Chef Aaron is fantastic! I tried the NY Strip and "Smashed" Potatoes...absolutely delicious! The smashed potatoes were a unique twist with rosemary and spices. I could eat them every day! The beer selection is also top-notch, especially the Pier to Pier Pale Ale. Can't wait to come back for more soon!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food and drinks are fantastic, and it is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The menu offers a mix of delicious specials along with elevated pub fare. Usually have a great experience here. Seemed like an off night and service was poor- took 15/20 min to be greeted upon seating, didn’t know anything about the menu or find the answer, scoffed when we wanted to order more drinks. We will be back but it was def a weird night
We’re big fans of HBC. The Korean tacos are my favorite and pairs nicely with an IPA. And the service is consistently great. Looking forward to our next visit.
I always enjoy going to Trivia night with a group of friends at this restaurant. The service manages to keep up even when it's busy with a large crowd.
