This is my second time ordering from this place. Im pregnant and craving some good jamaicain dish. The first time the order was missing items but this time around the oxtail was so hard, I couldnt even eat it. I also chose a side of plantain and got two slices of plantain with my meal. I really wanted to givethis place a try but you can't pay $30 for a meal that sucks.
I was disappointed with the food. I ordered the LS Island Stew Chicken, but it seemed more like baked chicken. There was no stew or sauce to speak of, and the rice was quite mediocre—definitely not appealing. The only aspects I enjoyed were the vegetables and plantains. Overall, it didn't taste like authentic stew chicken at all.
The jerk chicken was outstanding, featuring the perfect amount of spice. The cabbage and carrots were well-seasoned, and the other vegetables were equally flavorful. The plantains were excellent, and the tostones were good as well, though they were a bit overly salted for my taste, I still enjoyed them.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The oxtails, curry chicken, beef patties, and rice and beans are always cooked to perfection. Every dish is incredibly flavorful and delightful! And don’t forget to try the exquisite bread pudding—it’s a must! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
