Twice I went in to get take away coffee and spent ages waiting. First to order and then to get my coffee. Only the one person doing everything. Also no sweetener and only vanilla sugar (I think she said it was vanilla).Coffee was ok once we got it. I was going to have something in the cafe but only a few tables inside and they were taken. The outside seating is in full sun. Will give it another go in a few weeks but underwhelmed by first two visits.
Just saw a sign one morning and went to check this place out. Quite a quaint little place, just perfect to catch up with a friend. There is a guy (Morgan) who fixes bicycles. The young lady looks after the café area and he helps out if need be. Lovely, pleasant and local. A different concept on cafe's. Lovely atmosphere and tiny cakes just enough. She also has bagels... Quite reasonably priced. I've been around 3 times, it's quite new.
Hidden away from prying eyes on the other side of the shops from Albany Highway... Hidden Cafe is the best part of Kelmscott.Best coffee in Kelmscott... well, that's not hard... I'd be tempted to say best coffee in the south east quarter of the metro area, even including Vic Park.Friendly and witty staff, good food (especially the bagels).If you are going through Kelmscott, search this place out.
I went there for coffee on a saturday morning. This is very interesting doesnt know if its coffee shop or a bike shop.service was good the coffee was ok I can only have decafe so I cant give a view on the other coffee. I do feel it sort of needs to make up its mind what it is. It could be very good but at the moment its just ok for me. Others iv spoken to love it so go and make up your own mind. Hidden coffee has character, a personality, its real, its funny, it's authentic... it's so refreshing. one visit and I'm hooked... btw the coffee and food are A grade too. a complete package in an unlikely location. WINNER!
As named its hidden inside a bike shop in kelmscott. Coffee is delicious ( grouch and co beans ????) . Hopefully you start opening up longer soon as my mum works close by and is usually wanting a coffee around 3pm .
Bike enthusiasts gather here for parts and punctures. So do yummy mummies and their toddlers. I went with daughter and dog, all were made welcome. Cool vibe, quirky decor and great coffee. Outside seating too.
