I was looking for a unique food experience to take a friend to while I was visiting him with my family. I was not disappointed. It is a small place but with a great simple dining room with lots of charm. We were greeted immediately and were seated immediately. The menu was simple but very creative. Try their homemade hot chocolate! As well as their different ice tea blends. My coffee drinking family members enjoyed their beverages as well. The food was cooked perfectly and arrived in a timely manner. It was wonderful. Staff were warm and friendly. The Hilltop Cafe is beautiful. Wonderful ambiance. However, the food was not so great. I ordered the Rustic Chicken and a Mocha Latte. My dining partner ordered the veggie omelet. Both meals arrived cold. The Rustic Chicken was both cold and not tasty. I do not believe it would have been much better had it been warm. The Mocha Latte didn’t have any chocolate (technically just a latte) and my companions veggie omelet was so cold the cheese was completely uncooked. While the service was friendly it was inattentive.
The Goat cheese caramelized onion omelet is to die for!! An ample amount of wicked fresh goat cheese, mixed with Perfectly caramelized onions. It was the perfect portion with sourdough toast and homefries!! Also pictured is the DELECTABLE iced Mocha Latte I got. Perfectly sweetened but not overly sweet. We sat outside, on a beautiful summer day and closed the restaurant out. We were allowed to chat and hang in the backyard-esque outside dining area to our hearts content. I will certainly be going back.
What a wonderful gem tucked away in Wilton! The cafe area is converted farm house rooms, charming, and decorated with art from a local artist who apparently frequents the cafe. I really liked the artwork. We were served by a young man who was very friendly and informative about the history of the place. Great variety in their menu options; my friend and I shared the spinach and egg crepe and the mixed berry crepe, both were delicious. It was a perfect brunch and thus deserving a perfect review. I was invited by a client out to coffee and had no idea what kind of adventure I was in for. The drive was beautiful windy roads, and the atmosphere surrounding the establishment was stunning. The staff were all very friendly, engaging, and charming. I felt like everyone there had already been a friend for years. I had a delicious cortado and promised to return again.
Great place, we ate outside on a beautiful Saturday morning. I need to eat gluten free and they easily accommodated me. I had the everything biscuit without the biscuit and it was amazing! Treat yourself and stop by you will be glad you did!
My favorite breakfast place that’s worth the ride. Seriously delicious food and great atmosphere. I just love sitting at their backyard while sipping coffee. They make delicious espresso drinks. For food: lemon berry French toast is unique

By far the best food and service around. Always consistent. At this point I’ve had everything on the menu and I’ve never been disappointed. Derek Avery and Sam always take care of me and my family.
