Not only does the menu go above and beyond the choices that any other fish and chip shop offer for gluten free options but the staff are friendly and pride themselves on their knowledge of gluten free availability as well. It’s such a treat to have a number of options such as gluten free fried halloumi, curry sauce, gravy and loaded fries. The staffs confidence in gluten free offers makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. After a morning of shopping in Halifax, I was in need of a good meal and decided to do a quick search for a place to eat (I have Celiac disease, so I need gluten-free options). I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant and what a great find it was! The freshly cooked gluten-free fish and chips with peas, and gluten-free vinegar were delicious. The batter was perfect, everything was served piping hot and not greasy at all. On top of that, we received a very friendly welcome and had a nice conversation while we waited briefly for our food.
