It's always a pleasure dining here. Especially in the winter when you arrive for a cold winters day and the fireplace is on. The servers are pleasant and if you love single malts this is the place to be. They have an amazing selection of malts and they are reasonably priced. The menu is limited, but good pub fare is there. Look for the specials as they are worth it for the flavour and value.On our most recent visit we found a few different items on the menu and the addition of the local craft beer, Second Wedge. The same warm atmosphere was there with the fireplace glowing. Always listen carefully to the specials as they are invariably good in flavour as well as value.We go there often.
Impromptu anniversary dinner for 2 made us go into a quaint and charming establishment full of guests. So we ended on the mail floor and greeted by the owner himself,a Toronto man. After a little chit chat we opted for our meal to be Liver and Onions for him and myself a chef's choice for the day of Sirloin steak with veggies and mash...both were very tasty and accompanied by the Local beer, Second Wedge Brewing Company, myself a nice Porter named Rain Maker and for him, the ale called Monday Night Piper...both of us were full and satisfied. Definite place to come and enjoy the local family run restaurant...
This delightful restaurant offers delicious food, fantastic beer, and a remarkable variety of single malt scotch. We sat on the terrace and were able to enjoy the scent of white lilacs just a few feet away. The staff was outstanding and very friendly. We will definitely return when we are in the area again!
This is one of the top restaurants in Uxbridge. The ambiance is wonderful, the servers are very enjoyable, and dining is always a pleasure. I had an outstanding New York strip steak tonight with a delicious side of sautéed greens. Thank you to BJ and the staff for making Hobby Horse Inn a fantastic place!
Varied menu, and pricing. Great place for a casual couples night out for drinks and meal. Pub is warm and inviting. Love the desserts especially the stick toffee pudding. Nice place to gather with friends or family to relax and have drinks. Beautiful old house
just falling of the face. don't get it what these owners are up to. i guess that's why the for sale sign- they were always excentric, but has gotten worse. not worth the value for your bcuk
Nice clean menu and great food & Beer & Scotch, I recommend strongly always had good food and service, probably 20 visits over the past 4 years. Always good.
I visit my mil from out of town and been here a couple times. Food is outstanding and so is the service. One of the best places in Uxbridge !!!
