Was at the bar. Not short of staff, but work flow is not organized. There are unnecessary delays, disorganized order taking. The staff is really not bad. It is a management problem. They should pay attention to the scale they are capable of managing. Was myfirst time here. If the menu that I got at the bar is all the restaurant menu, and the way the plated food came out, I am reallysurprised about the rave reviews this place got! I can understand the feel that they want to create, like you were in one ofthose bars in Japan, but I have certainly been to better places of the kind in US. And was really underwhelmed here. The location is really nice and alcohol cocktails good but alcohol-free ones are horrendous. They are diluted syrup in water . The food had too much oil that covers basically all the other flavours. Veggie tempura missed completely the crunchy part and it was composed litterally by 4 asparagus (raw) and 2 pieces of broccoli. The service was the worst part. We waited 45min for the first main and the second one additional 30min. All the other tables next to us that arrived later they got their food way much earlier than us.
Was staying at the verb walked down stairs and ordered carry out. Doorman was efficient/personable checking IDs and stamping hands at entry, the bartender was friendly gave me the option to relax at the bar even though I wasn't drinking or come backdown when my food was ready (20 minutes). As I wanted a quiet relaxing evening I opted to come back down. Cucumber avocado rollwas delicious (possibly best I've ever had). The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively/fun if in the mood to go out I couldsee it being a great time.
Friday night, Redsox game... It is probably not their fault. I finished all my food by the time my wife got hers. Our waitress was good and apologized, got us a big discount for the wait. Something was off in the kitchen good to see they tried to make up for it. Because of it, we might give it another try on a less crazy day.

The restaurant is very dark. Waiter was attentive and explained small plates and sharing. My Tokyo tea was pretty , but all ice no alcohol. Food was just OK. We had Sushi's , Brussels sprouts, fried chicken and a Kimchi Fried Rice. Highlight was Brussel sprouts. The Fried rice was awful. Wouldn't go back
Had a great time!! Only comment was that the music was a bit loud when we got there, but nothing too uncomfortable until around when they cranked it so loud we were shouting to hear one another! Iâm not usually sensitive to loud music but it was almost unbearable. Great music mix tho lol
Food was great, we have been a few times and it’s consistently good, we have never had a bad meal here! Waiter was great , friendly asked about allergies and attentive. My only complaint might be, the drinks are in very small glasses and pricey but delicious.
My wife and I went to visit my college age daughter. Tempura shiitake roll was banginâ. Noodle bowl was good. Super fun vibe. Service was spot on. Need a sweet offering for real.

Delicious food and great service. Appreciate vaccine cards checked. If you do want to sit outside, call ahead and make sure the outside is set up. Would definitely return!
They still had their temporary outdoor covered seating and it was just really really coldâ hard to enjoy because of that but good experience otherwise
