This is a nice family owned business with servers who take the time to explain the menu and not rush the experience. We mentioned this was our first visit and our server went above and beyond to give us a bit of history and go over the executive chef specials. Now the food was an EXPERIENCE! I’ve never had hash-browns with that much flavor. I ended up ordering the Southern Breakfast bowl and if you like spicy the spicy biscuit included gives a great kick not to mention the other peppered in spices that give a unique taste. 10/10 experience with extraordinary food. We recommend an early visit or weekday visits since this is a brunch destination spot. Wait time could be long during the weekend...
I came a couple of days ago. I asked for my eggs to be well done and and for my biscuits to be normal (not the spicy ones) in my chicken and biscuits dish. My eggs were so runny even the white was still not fully done, and my dish still had the spicy biscuits. The waitress just have me extra normal biscuits when I told her. All the gravy was on the other biscuit with the runny eggs. Also the chicken was over done and hard. You might say I should have asked for my whole dish to be changed but I didn’t have the time to wait around for another one and tried not to waste the food but ended up not eating it. It should have been done right from the start. So over all, wasn’t a good experience.
Great service and atmosphere! Most importantly a menu with options and ingredients I’ve never even seen before! Thats a huge refreshment itself for someone who is tired of the same ole stuff! I had the Holly’s Benedict with hashbrown casserole and added grits. Best grits I’ve ever had. PLUS they had local hot sauce on the table and after I finished my meal, they have a cookie menu from a local bakery. TRY IT ALL!
Food is consistently good. Today waited 15 minutes for any wait staff to acknowledge us because we “weren’t their table”. Once we had our waiter he did not get the order right nor did he check on us or get everything we ordered to us. Maybe just bad luck with this specific waiter. Went to brunch here yesterday with my family and this place was amazing! I got the best ****** Mary I've ever had AND the hashbrown casserole was to die for! I got the chicken panini and it was amazing! Great atmosphere also, we sat outside. Will go back for sure!
My husband and I had a delicious breakfast date here with our dog on the patio. Waffles were amazing and the nerd was a little spicier than we expected but you could tell they put love into the gravy and it wasn’t from a can. Will be back!
I feel like this brunch spot is a true hidden gem! Delicious food and drinks, amazing prices, and always great service (we especially like Mersades)!
