I had an excellent experience with their grilled cheese sandwiches! I ordered two sandwiches and two fizzy drinks for about £14, and each sandwich was loaded with cheese – I felt full for hours afterward. They offer a variety of options, including vegan, vegetarian, and meat-based cheese sandwiches, as well as baked sandwiches for both vegans and vegetarians. The staff were really lovely, and I would definitely visit again. My only complaint is that the café was quite echoey, which made it difficult to hear calls. I think some sound-absorbing panels would help – they could easily make them using rockwool insulation covered with acoustically transparent fabric.
they will not find a better place to eat in newport. it is a small piece of heaven for cheese lovers, not a great selection of menu, but that is where the old adage of quality and not quantity comes to understood, simple, effective and definitiw delicious. the two beautiful people (vern and emily) who lead the holy cheesus are friendly, polite and always have time to chat with the customers. it is our favorite place for families where we get some roasted cheese sandwiches. 10/10
An independent place offering vegan, veggie and gluten free options with the options to switch up any toastie and add extras. Especially impressed with the locally made vegan meats they offered and the option for changing any to vegan cheese. Best breakfast toastie I’ve ever had
I've been here a couple times and her veggie sandwiches and vegans are amazing. great portions leave them full and satisfied! highly recommended if they are looking for something else for lunch! I also love that it is a local independent place with friendly staff. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The sandwiches were filled with fresh ingredients. I got a takeaway, and the food was quick and fresh. We tried the chili con carne and the R 'n' Bree, and both were really delicious!
