I didn’t catch them on their best day however, they DELIVERED and worked through it and their determination to succeed was far above what most would attempt. I remember a 3 day wilderness hunt In the high country and our commitment to track and harvest that old elk passed his prime. One taste of their Brunswick brought me back 30+ years when we fired up a homemade now called Rocket Stove on a single digit afternoon above the tree line as the wind blew the snow up against us. My new favorite BBQ spot. When I came in the guy behind the counter learned it was my first time visiting so he told me to have a seat and he would be right back lol. Then he brought out some samples to help me decide what I wanted to eat. He was verypersonable with everyone that walked in, even the homeless guy that came in. I ended up getting the shrimp, ribs and Mac cheese. The food was very good enough food to eat off of twice! I went later in the day They were out of buttermilk pie, soI?ll definitely be back to try that as well.
I went late and most everything was gone. But they had everything I wanted. Teaches me not to wait until the last minute to decide what I want to eat. They asked if it was our first time there and yes, it was. They fixed us a sample plate. The foodwas absolutely delicious. No joke. There was a customer there who been doing business with Hookin Bull for 16 years. I nowam a true customer. This will be the only place I get bbq ribs, rib tops, pulled pork, pulled chicken, jumbo shrimp anddesserts. Hookin Bull for Life!
Look here!!! Where can u go and the staff ask if you been there before and u get to sample the food before you purchase anything???These other businesses need to take notes.!!! But seriously the service was great the guys were nice and professional, food took a minute but we were waiting on ribs off the grill. So delicious! Sides are good we got baked beans and mac. I had a great experience during my first visit to this restaurant! The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and I even received a 10% discount since it was my first time there. I appreciated being able to sample a few items before deciding on my order. I ended up trying the rib sandwich with corn, and I found the ribs to be tender. The only downside was that I wasn't a fan of the mild sauce on the side as it tasted like ketchup, but overall I still enjoyed my meal.
Maybe I don’t come on a the best day or I’m jus coming off another bbq restaurant but it was ok.Got the rib tip meal because they ran out of shrimp to get combo. The smoky flavor was great but the ribs were underwhelming and a little tough not very tender. I did however enjoy the baked beans, the first I’ve had from a restaurant with meat in it.I would come back though to try to pulled meats because I wasn’t totally turned off just not impressed by the rib tips
I went to a restaurant called NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE. The owner was very nice, welcoming, and even allowed me to try the food before buying it. Let me just say, the food was INCREDIBLE. I couldn't stop thinking about it on Thursday after trying it on Wednesday, so I decided to come back on Saturday for dinner. This has to be the best food I've had in a while.
The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the tender rib tips with lots of flavor. The staff was friendly and even allowed us to do a small taste test. Great service and great food!! We were looking for a good BBQ place to try and were blown away by everything we ordered (including the samples provided since it was our first time). Can’t forget the amazing hospitality too! Will definitely come back.
