I went inside the restaurant hoping to speak with someone about the situation, as I wanted either my food or a refund. Instead, I was told that I couldn’t enter. Finally, a manager came to talk to me. To my surprise, I recognized her voice as the same person who had taken my order. She claimed they couldn’t find it but was able to issue a refund.
I don’t understand why I was treated so poorly. It felt like my presence upset them, and as a woman, I felt that some employees may have had an issue with me. Went there on a slow night for them maybe only 15 people total inside and at least 7 employees took us over 30 minutes to even get noticed, took an additional 15 minutes to get our drinks and order taken . We asked for our appetizer to be brought outprior to our main course and they brought everything out at the same time. Some of the worst service I?ve ever had
Arrived at 10pm and were seated somewhat quickly after showing ID?s. Places drink orders and no water was offered. Put food order in one side, salad, 10 bone and wings and one salad with chicken as a meal that took 25 ish mins. My wings were colddelivery to table. ?Weak? main salad as a meal. I went straight to the bar upon entering and ordered some food. I also requested to have the game I wanted to watch on the TV in front of me. I enjoyed my meal and had a few drinks. It was definitely a great time at Hooters in downtown St. Louis, just 2 blocks from the Arch.
