The Hop Friar is a traditional pub with a nice modern interior. There is a good choice of beers lager and cider including hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales, and the ones we sampled were in excellent condition. There are TVs showing sport, Premier league when i visited. There is a covered outside seating area under an old timberd part of the pub and a very nice beer garden. The pub is dog friendly.
