I've wanted to come here for a long time and we finally did today. We had a wonderful lunch after going to Salamanca Market. We ordered a T Bone steak which was perfectly done with excellent chips and salad for only $10. The place also had lovely interiors and ambiance. Definitely will return regularly ;
Thank you to Tara and her staff who looked after the group I was with. We all enjoyed our meal. Also big thanks for letting me get the photos so I can do my challenge. Great meal and also a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend the Hope and anchor to all my friends.
Very disappointed with seafood chowder. Looked good but mainly potato carrot. Equally letdown with the spiced cauliflower. Probably should have ordered the waiter’s Beef Wellington recommendation.

Friendly staff and relaxed vibe. Good quality and great value food and drinks. Close to the city and the waterfront, definitely worth visiting while you're in Hobart.
A stones throw away from the office and THE BEST Seafood Chowder EVER!!!!!!. Make sure you visit the upstairs rooms, what an amazing slice of history.
Amazing meals, wonderful service, warm atmosphere. Very accommodating as we had our 3wks old baby with us and nothing was a bother. Recommend to all.
