This is my favorite place to visit in Tarrytown! Best time to go is during the Halloween season where the atmosphere is festive people are dressed up in costumes having libations and generally having fun. I will admit however that waiting times are long! There is NO way to reserve a table here. If coming during any weekend during or before halloween, expect up to an hour wait outside. The staff here is always attentive and top notch. The food and drinks are excellent and I always leave here with a full stomach! Parking: Parking is not too difficult depending on the time you arrive. There is parking on side streets and a few blocks away as well if you're willing to walk a bit.
This is a lovely restaurant. The New England Clam Chowder was outstanding. The burger was tasty, but I wish I had ordered it well done rather than medium rare, as it was definitely more on the rare side. My wife’s Broadway French Dip featured well-seasoned roast beef, but it too was on the rarer side.
Pros: The service was excellent, the food presentation was impressive, and the prices were reasonable.
Cons: If you order medium rare, be prepared for it to be quite rare.
We will definitely stop by again on our travels to EF Academy.

CONS: However, it took a long time to make a reservation, and they were not very responsive over the phone. Additionally, the burger I ordered was overcooked.
OVERALL: This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but I would recommend steering clear of the burger.
The Halloween decorations created a fun atmosphere, and the restaurant was bustling with energy. The staff were friendly, and the wait time was shorter than anticipated. Definitely worth a visit! I really enjoyed the soups. The Ichbod Cod was perfectly crispy and tasty—I would gladly order these fish and chips again! We visited on Halloween and absolutely loved both the ambiance and the food. Horrible! Waited two hours to get in, this was expected but then it took over an hour for the food to come and it was so disgusting I couldn’t even eat my meal. I noticed other people picking around their food and disappointed as well. Felt like a scam, I would never return. Meal type: Dinner
The staff here are attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is great! My burger and steak fries were cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. My Bloody Mary was nice and spicy, just the way I like it. I really enjoyed dining outside on this beautiful autumn day. I will definitely be back!

The French onion soup is absolutely fantastic! The food portions are more than generous. My husband is a huge fan of the Reuben sandwich, and if nothing else, the atmosphere at Horsefeathers keeps us coming back!
