Overall, the quality of the sushi was decent, but as someone from an Asian background, I could tell that the chef had used leftover tuna to make the nigiri, even though it was fresh. Additionally, I found two pieces of sashimi to be unexpectedly chewy, which is something I wouldn't expect from a restaurant of this level. I had a wonderful dining experience at Hoshiya. The food was excellent and offered great value for money. The staff were polite and the service was prompt, so I have no complaints whatsoever.
