Hot N Chili Indian

One of the top-rated restaurants on Yelp for a reason. Came in during the buffet on a weekend and was treated to amazing meat and vegetarian options, each dish a banger. My regret is I was too busy stuffing my face to list all the options (of which there were plenty), but whether you 're a newbie coming to Indian food or looking for great tasting basics, you 'll be covered.(Food 5, Cost 5)The seating area is full of decoration and still gives off a mom and pop vibe. For me, a big tell on whether a restaurant takes the extra step is to look at the bathrooms (and the garbage, but not like I had access to that). We arrived at the beginning of dinner hour. The doors were open, but no one was in the dining room (although we had reservations). When I stepped to the kitchen door to enquirer, I was disgusted by what I saw. It was filthy. The sink area had black gunk everywhere and the floors looked as though they had never been cleaned. We immediately left. I cannot comment on the food as I would not dare eat it. I'm sorry to have to write this. Perhaps the restaurant owners can turn things around.

Came today to try out this new Indian restaurant HotnChilli. Happy we did. Couldn't get enough if their buffet. Delicious everything I tried was excellent. Cef came out introducing himself, and offered a specialized dessert. Wish he would have come out sooner. I was to stuffed to take him up on it. This spot will certainly scratch your itch for Indian. The decor is tastefully done so as to not be gaudy or excessive. I exercised caution with the spice level and was pleased with my meal. One party member did not exercise caution and went with the hot option and was in a world of pain and perhaps stricken temporarily deaf. The staff was very affable and helpful in ordering.

Came here for lunch while visiting the San Clemente SB.Ambience is good.They had decent items on the menu for a buffet. We opted for it. Food is tasty and served fresh.Liked:Chats Pakoda, Samosa ChatEntree Dal,, Veg Jalfrezi, Paneer TikkaDessert Kheer was good.Not so liked: Roti(was little hard) Mango lassi didn’t felt like it was made with mangoes

I ordered beef Tika mesala, and he ordered lamb Tika mesala..The mesala tasted like it was the same sauce as the lamb sauce my husband had. It was disgusting, and I didn't eat it.The roti was pretty ok, and when I looked down, the tsbel clothe had old food on it. I will never eat there again I'm sorry to say.

First time trying Indian food is very impressed very unique the original taste and style. The server and the cook everyone was very very nice delightful atmosphere. Will go there again. Had their stuff cheese bread is delicious the rice is delicious the beef is delicious. Highly recommended to try it out

Came on a weeknight so it was nice and quiet. Service was top notch, very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and authentic. We were pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend.

Best chicken t I ate. Love the food and the service was amazing. People are so kind and friendly. The nan bread garlic with cheese it was a plus !!

My go to Indian food spot in San Clemente. Staff are very friendly, and service is quick. Outdoor and indoor seating available.
