L’Ecurie hat einen neuen Koch und obwohl ich noch nie zuvor in diesem Restaurant war (ich kann es also nicht vergleichen), ist es jetzt absolut köstlich! Der Raum ist gemütlich, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Und das Essen... das Essen, wow... jedes einzelne Gericht war super lecker, mit ... ausgewogenen Aromen, liebevoll präsentiert und großzügig serviert. Sogar das Brot war gut, was viel über den Gedanken aussagt, der in Écuries Angebot steckt. Die Preise sind sehr fair, insbesondere angesichts der Qualität und der in Verbier üblichen Preise. Wir waren mit unseren Freunden dort. Wir bestellten von der Speisekarte, die sowohl Französisch als auch Englisch war. Die Vorspeisen waren gut. Dann bestellten wir die Schweinerippchen, die sich als Schweinekoteletts herausstellten. Wir riefen den Kellner an und sagten ihm, dass das Essen falsch sei und dass wir Rippchen bestellt hätten. Er sagte, es gäbe Koteletts, keine Rippchen. Wir zeigten die Speisekarte, auf der eindeutig Rippchen stand. Die englische Übersetzung war offensichtlich falsch. Er sagte, die Übersetzung sei sehr gut! Er sagte einfach „Wir haben keine Rippchen“, ohne sich zu entschuldigen, und ging einfach. Wir fanden es sehr unhöflich und sehr seltsam, damit umzugehen.

L'Ecurie is a Verbier institution and after it was taken over by the owner of Le Dahu tried it but was not convinced. Tried again years later, last night, and the food was so disappointing. I have been many times to this restaurant with my boyfriend, we are always delighted! The food is excellent and the staff is helpful, efficient and friendly! We recommend this establishment to any people who love good food. For sure, we will come back!
Wonderful for families and couples and eating on your own isn’t awkward, as there are cosy private corners. Wooden tables and chairs, beautifully cooked traditional food and a very nice welcome and excellent service.
First the food was not well done... So it went for a second try. Unfortunately... too salty, fried Spätzle really?, could have been more. After all... my expectations were higher...
