Was in Regina for the week on business and was fortunate enough to stay at the Hotel Saskatchewan. The hotel is well maintained inside and out and it dominates a great central location in downtown Regina.Check-in was fast and friendly with the clerk making sure to give the entire rundown of the hotel's amenities. From other comments the hotel has been renovated recently and I have to say, it looks good. The only exception would be the pool/fitness area. Aside from the gym equipment, I don't think a lot of money was spent on this space. They also no longer have an infrared sauna. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, no stationary though. I also wouldn't mind a fully-stocked minibar as...
I booked a table for 4 at the Hotel Saskatchewan for Mother's Day this year. The prices were astronomical - roughly $250 for the four of us, so maybe my expectations were too high. But that didn't include any drinks, since 4 relatively small mimosas set you back around $35. And don't forget a tip on top of all of that. The food was nothing special, and the atmosphere was not conducive to talking thanks to a duo playing music with the volume loud enough to hasten you on your way. The only positive thing about the entire meal was the desserts, which lived up to my expectation. I could have put this down to just me expecting too much, but I compared notes later with a co-worker that I ran into...
Sells it self as an autograph hotel...the queen of England stayed here don't you know. Standard king room ok. High ceilings nice...mediocre attempt at turning a sows ear into a silk purse. No pool, overheated hot tub. Only basic Wi-Fi for free otherwise $14.95...not sure for what?The only excellent thing that impressesd me about this hotel is the young woman who opens the door and the gym equipment.
This is absolutely stunning. The beauty and elegance of the hotel decor was outstanding. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The beds were great with plenty of pillows and high quality sheets. The breakfast restaurant was filled with so many delicious options. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again. Thanks hotel Saskatchewan.
This place has a great atmosphere and great service. When the Royal family or the Prime Minster come to Regina this is where they stay and it is easy to see why. Rates for the rooms are very reasonable bathrooms are small. Restaurant and lounge are a bit pricey but in my opinion worth it for the quality, selection, atmosphere and service.
The hotel was sparkling clean. The room was spacious and very quiet and nice and dark at night. All of the employees were super friendly and the hot tub in the fitness centre was really nice. The location was prime, in the heart of the city (across Victoria Park and shopping and restaurants) I really enjoyed it.
I was so impressed with the Brunch they have, It is absolutely amazing. The variety and quality of the food is wonderful. I was there for the mothers day brunch so it was more specialized. I am looking forward to going again to a normal brunch. It is costly but what a treat.It is so worth it. A must to go to.
Flavourful, well presented meals that are plentiful. Buns are fresh and easy to bite through on the sandwiches. Best caesar salad I have had in a long time. Nice craft beer selection. Appitizers were delicious and plentiful.
Refused to help us with a Hotwire booking when we had to cancel a trip due to family in the hospital.
