There was a huge CLUMP of hair in my cream cheese (like a shower clump of hair) ..... I go here all the time... and have never had anything wrong with my order. Today not only was there was a clump of hair in the cream cheese. My order was wrong. I mean not that the order matters compared to the hair... if it was one strand I normally wouldn't say anything but the clump was just so weird... like it was dropped on the ground in the shower or something? Anyway, let's just say they lost my service and I'll make sure to warn others as well
I was hoping to find a local spot for some great bagels, and I chose this place based on the reviews. The bagels were really tasty, but I found them quite pricey. A mini bagel costs $1, and if you want cream cheese, that’s another $1—seriously? I also tried a brownie, expecting it to be delicious, but it was surprisingly unsweet. It felt more like a healthy brownie than a treat. Plus, there was a homeless man sitting right by the entrance, which made me a bit uncomfortable.
I visited the House of Bagels for the first time in San Carlos, conveniently located just off Laurel Street on San Carlos Ave. It’s hard to miss whether you’re driving or walking by, especially with the enticing aroma of fresh bagels wafting through the air from blocks away. The bagels are delicious, the service is quick, and the street-side atmosphere is quite pleasant. I would definitely return for their bagels!
Thoroughly surprised and impressed! We got the standard whipped cream cheese and salmon cream cheese with a few bagels too. It's super fluffy, light, and smooth. I'd definitely come back here and pick up some more. Food: 8/10 Value: 6/10

Great local bagel spot in San Carlos. We come here ever few weeks for a fresh bagel with cream cheese on a saturday/ sunday. Great, friendly staff. Good vibe with lots of folks queuing to get a bagel in the mornings. Enjoy
The staff at this delicious place are always so nice and friendly and will always great you with a smile! The bagels are delicious and the bagel sandwiches are mouthwatering!
