The servers were friendly, and the holiday afternoon tea was wonderful. I think some of the lower ratings from the past came from people who don't understand how high tea should be experienced. In my opinion, the price for this tea was much more reasonable than at many other places where I’ve been, especially considering they didn't offer unlimited tea. My friend and I were both quite impressed and enjoyed everything, except for the small chocolate mint tart. However, we absolutely adored the sugar plum macaron! The place was extremely busy; we visited on a Tuesday with a reservation, and it was still packed.
This is a sweet little tea room, but is WAY over-priced for what you get. We went for holiday tea $280 for 3 adults and 2 kids). They served water in plastic glasses. The tea leaves are steeped in a plastic holder the pot is glass but the plastic sits inside the hot water). The kid's sandwich tray came with <1 sandwich per child and when we requested more, they charged us an additional $8. If you are up for spending this much money, go to the Brown Palace instead. The price point is about the same, the ambience is far superior there, and they don't upcharge for additional sandwiches.
Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly; she clearly knew her menu inside and out. The restaurant itself was stunning, and it seemed like every detail had been thoughtfully curated. Even the restroom was exquisite. We had the opportunity to sample a variety of teas, which was a delightful experience. The assortment of treats was diverse, and I enjoyed every single item. They served perhaps the best macarons I’ve ever tasted! We visited a few days ago, and I'm still reminiscing about how wonderful it was.
Sweet little tea shop in downtown Denver. Lots of different teas to choose from accompanied with scones, finger sandwiches, little cakes, and macaroons. We missed the spot for reservations on the website, but they accommodated us a few hours later and were really nice about it, despite how busy they were. They really took the time to explain everything to us and it made all the difference! The wallpaper in the bathroom was funny.
Cute little tea house with an incredible tea selection. We really enjoyed the sandwiches specifically, the one with tumeric was excellent and unexpected! Desserts were good, a little sugary for the adults but our daughter ate them all up.
