I suppose I have to take the blame for choosing Mexican food at this location when there are so many excellent options available, but I was really craving a burrito. Unfortunately, I regret giving in to that craving. I ordered an asada burrito, but the meat tasted boiled or like it had been sitting out too long. Plus, how is it possible for a burrito to be cold when I picked up my food immediately after the pager went off? To top it off, the portion size was incredibly small for the price. At least now I know that this is likely the worst stall in the place, and I won’t be ordering from here again.
OVERLY EXPENSIVE! This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had! I walked in extremely hungry and saw that the tacos were $3.29 EACH! I thought to myself, "Okay, this better be worth it." I ordered one taco and a Horchata, which came to a total of $8. The Horchata tasted like it was from a store and was quite disappointing. The tacos were absurdly small and not even flavorful; they were basically just two bites. On top of that, the service was painfully slow. THIS PLACE NEEDS A WAKE-UP CALL!
I recently visited a new taco place—Ibasa Tacos Elotes Taqueria, situated in the vibrant Haven City Market. What an amazing burst of flavors! Ibasa Tacos Elotes offers delicious birria tacos, potato tacos, and elotes that are all fantastic. The birria and potato tacos are definitely the highlights. And I never imagined that elotes could be even more delicious! Adding crushed Hot Cheetos on top is pure brilliance! They truly know how to enhance your elote experience!
The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, but sadly, the food is disappointing. The meats have a stale taste and seem to be of low quality. If you're looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this isn't the place to go. I tried the pastor and asada, but neither lived up to my expectations. I had the birria tacos and potato tacos, and both were outstanding—simple yet delicious. The green sauce was definitely superior to the red sauce. I also tried the corn appetizer topped with flaming hot Cheetos. It was okay; I liked the corn but wasn't a fan of the toppings. Still, I would absolutely order the tacos again and I'm excited to try more dishes in the future.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. My husband tried the asada and carnitas tacos. Overall, the tacos were flavorful, and the chili had a nice mild taste. My only issue was that the asada tacos were a little too salty, but aside from that, they were delicious.
The guacamole tastes pre-packaged, and the cheese is low-quality and waxy as well. The taquitos are merely cheap José Olé frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store, filled with an odd, mushy meat. I recommend saving your money and trying a different place.
