This restaurant in Silver Spring has the best sushi! We visited late on a Friday night and tried the Nigri sushi combo with two extra rolls - the caterpillar and salmon lover rolls. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! The rolls are generously-sized, making it a great value. They are unique without being too over-the-top or fusion-y. The sushi was served with fantastic service in a stylish interior. We will definitely be returning, as this is now our go-to spot!
Vegetarian options: I follow a vegan diet and found the vegetable and avocado rolls to be excellent.
Kid-friendliness: They offer Japanese sodas that my kids really enjoyed. The waiter even made chopsticks that my kids could easily use (ages 5 and 10). They loved the food and finished everything on their plates. The mango mochi dessert was a big hit with them as well.
Parking: There is a public parking lot conveniently located nearby.

It was a perfect evening to sit outside and enjoy delicious sushi, Miso soup and jasmine tea! The Love Boat was a fun choice and good to share between at least 2 people! The mango mochi ice cream was delicious as well! Service was great! If you have to use the restroom, they’ll give you a key and it’s a bit of a walk through the back of the building, but not a big deal.
If you haven't tried this place yet, I suggest doing so as soon as possible! The food is excellent, with a very attentive, kind, and friendly staff. The sushi combos and chef specials are some of my favorite dishes to enjoy. And don't forget to try the Sapporo and hot sake combo - it's a must! Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
This place is a true gem in downtown Silver Spring. Yes, some rolls are pricier than most other sushi places, but the quality of the rolls make it worth the price. Their ramen was also really amazing. Ikko overall had a cozy atmosphere and the service was great — everyone was extremely friendly.
This sushi place is pretty good. They have unique plates that are well done. We had the Asahi roll, the Lobster Sensation, and the DC monument roll II. The Asahi and Lobster Sensation were very good. The DC monument roll II looks interesting but taste-wise it wasn't amazing.Food: 4/5

Always a favorite! Only takeout today, quick service from the friendly staff! Yummy sushi when my daughter has a sleepover guest is extra good!
It is ok , the food tastes lot more better from prior and now lot more expensive Not sure if I want to come back
