I had high hopes for this restaurant, but ultimately left disappointed. The outdoor ambiance was lovely and the menu showed creativity. The service was friendly and attentive. However, I was disappointed with the food. The sangria was watered down and lacked flavor, filled with ice and fruit that took up most of the glass. The peach salad had only a few peach slices, some of which had brown spots. The corn on the cob tasted strange and didn't seem fresh, possibly frozen. The squash was overcooked. While some dishes were decent, overall the food was not well-executed considering the price. My daughter and I visited Daily Dish for dinner yesterday for the first time, and we were extremely disappointed. Our order of two burgers ($50) took over 30 minutes to be served and came with incorrect items. The burgers were not cooked as requested. The potato wedges were overcooked and cold. The service was poor as our waiter, Jeremy, was never available to assist us. We had to ask the hostess, Sophia, to refill our waters. Overall, we had a negative experience and do not plan on returning.
I've eaten here several times. It's a nice local, neighborhood-style restaurant. Food and service have always been good. Today, I had a salad that was excellent. Why not five stars? This just isn't a five-star kind of restaurant. It's not a place that you would want to drive across town to eat at. But it's very good for what it is, and I'd happily eat here again.
The restaurant has a fantastic casual atmosphere and offers good quality food. They have indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as a great selection of brunch dishes. The lamb burger was made with a preformed patty. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
