Came here with my 10 year old son while visiting Atlanta. We enjoyed every bite of food we ate. We had the meatball appetizer which my son said were the best meatballs he’s ever had in his life! I ordered the salmon with the sweet potato gnocchi that were DIVINE. My son got the roasted chicken which was also amazing as I was eating from his plate too LOL. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. Service and atmosphere was as amazing as the food. 10/10 recommend.
This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we will definitely be returning. The food, wine, and desserts were all excellent. The tables are spacious, and the high ceiling creates a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal and conversation. We had dinner here and rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5. We highly recommend the Caesar Salad, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Focaccia, and Risotto.
Il Giallo Osteria Bar was one of our top picks for the 20 Best Atlanta Restaurants to Visit in 2016, and it truly lives up to the hype. With Chef Jamie Adams and co-owner Leonardo Moura, who both come from Atlanta's renowned Veni Vidi Vici, at the helm, we knew we were in for a treat. Il Giallo, pronounced il-JAH-lo, opened late last year, and we couldn't wait to see what they had to offer.
We recently had a corporate dinner at I Giallo. The ambience was intimate, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We opted to try all of the appetizers on the menu and also enjoyed dishes such as salmon, spaghetti, and fettuccine. The restaurant has plenty of free parking available. When Atlanta’s venerable Vini, Vidi, Vici closed in 2015, pasta lovers wept. Cry no more, pasta people, because the team behind V-V-V has resurfaced in Sandy Springs at il Giallo Osteria. It's worth it to go just to watch the pasta being made in the front of the dining room. It's better to eat than to watch, though!
The entire meal, from the bread to the dessert, was fantastic! The service was also exceptional. You can really taste the difference with the freshly made pasta. We are big fans of Italian food and we definitely suggest trying out this restaurant.
It's impossible not to love a restaurant that makes fresh pasta right in front of you. This cozy yet upscale spot is a welcomed addition to the Sandy Springs dining scene, offering refined cuisine, attentive service, and a fantastic atmosphere.
