I tried several times to make a reservation by phone for 6:00 PM, but no one answered, so we decided to drive 10 miles to try our luck. Upon arrival, the main hostess was surprisingly curt and seemed eager to find reasons not to seat us, mistakenly assuming we had made an online reservation when we had not. Not wanting to argue, I asked for a reservation then and there. We had specifically chosen Il Lago because they have a terrace with an outside entrance where we could sit with our 9-month-old puppy. Although many tables were available on the terrace, she refused to seat us, now claiming no pets were allowed....
Excellent food but with only one waitress, she was racing around to take care of everyone. She took good care of us,just a lag to wait for to go boxes. She did her best. The linguini with clams was delicious, but way too watery. The rest of the meal was fantastic. Update???? We ate outside on the deck and had FANTASTIC service. Our waitress was on it. I love the clams linguini, but they're very watery. I can't complain, because they are just delicious. The salad and bread accompanied and my taste buds in heaven. Highly recommend ?
We were longtime fans and frequent customers of Tantardinos, but after dining at the new Il Lago Pizza Pasta location a few times, we've noticed a mix of experiences. The staff and service are generally great, but the owner has taken our calls only to keep us waiting over 15 minutes without any warning. When I politely asked if we were on a 20-minute hold, the response was, "Oh, no more orders?" before the call abruptly ended. We will not be ordering from here again. The behavior was unprofessional and very rude.

We were big fans and huge customers of tantardinos but after experiencing the new ownership a few times, the employees and service is overall great but the owner has answered a few take out calls and put us on hold for well over 15 minutes with nowarning. When I kindly said, ?we didn?t realize we?d be put on hold for 20 minutes,? she said ?oh well were no longer takingorders? and hung the phone up. Never will we order from here again. So unprofessional and so rude.
After working all day with my crew, we stopped by Il Lago Pizza Pasta. Our friends Josh and Christa joined us, and they were worried since we didn’t have a reservation. Stacy kindly made room for all eight of us on the terrace! The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive despite how busy they were. The food and margaritas were incredible! Thanks, everyone, it’s a wonderful spot!
Stopped in after working on a job all day with my crew. Had friends Josh and Christa meeting us and they were slammed busy and we had no reservation. Stacy still made room and let us all sit out on the patio! 8 of us!!!! Service was fantastic friendly andquick considering how busy they were!. The food and Margaritas were amazing!!! Thanks guys great place!
We ordered to go and had it ready when we arrived from a great day of adventuring. We ordered a cheese pizza and pepperoni which both were delicious! My husband and I have always wanted to try this place and we're happy to have a reason on our way home. Weboth look forward to trying the pasta dishes the next time we have a visit.

Excellent service and delicious food. We sat on the deck and they allowed our dog to join us. They also brought out a bowl of water for her. Super thoughtful. I had the Alfredo with sausage and my husband had the turkey twist. Highly recommend this restaurant. It?s a bit on the expensive side, so perfect for a nice evening out.
