Working in the area and wanted pizza, I try and find places like this and typically stay away from chain or traditional pizzerias. This place held nothing back, unbelievable freshness and the menue had me so undecided with so many good options to chose from. I decided on the pesto that was highly recommended from my waiter. Wish I would of got his name, he was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and the history of the place. The pizza was phenomenal. I'm very sad I didn't find this place before now it's almost time to leave the area but I will be back and highly recommend this establishment. The local brew I had was also very good.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The pizza and bruschetta we ordered were absolutely delightful. The crust was crisp yet tender, with the perfect thickness, and the toppings were generous without being excessive. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients; every bite is a testament to that. This should definitely be the go-to place for amazing pizza for everyone in the area!
Honestly, this might be the best pizza I've ever had in my life! We tried eight different varieties from the menu, and each one was absolutely delicious. A huge shoutout to the person who made all these incredible pizzas for our large group! Our waitress was wonderful, too. Overall, it was an excellent experience—10/10!
I can't believe I waited so long to try this Il Lazzarone. The service, food, and atmosphere was amazing. We went during lunch hour on a Wednesday. I wish I could have went back for dinner. I will definitely be coming back again soon. Everything was delicious. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very good!! I got my gluten intolerant cauliflower pizza crust with the suprema!! Both pizzas were spot on!! The salad was perfect as well!!! Nice treat while traveling through St. Joseph, Mo.
Wow! This place is a hidden gem. The service was excellent, and they have great beers. The pizza truly brings a taste of Italy to Saint Joe. These folks are doing an amazing job!
