I ordered whelk noodles just by looking at the review photos, and there was only a lot of lettuce and cucumbers, and the occasional tough dried pollack caught my eye. Also, it came out very late because I was paying attention to the customer who was playing golf next to me. I don't think I'll go there again. It looks like it was made by someone from another country, not a Korean chef. It didn't have much flavor. The server was friendly.
The food is plentiful, comes out quickly, and the taste is average. But I think it’s only open in the afternoon. The free popcorn was so soggy that I couldn't eat it, the tofu kimchi was too salty and sour, and the seasoned whelk seemed to have been under-mixed to the point where the sugar was chewy. Still, it was plentiful because there were a lot of sea bream and dried dried pollack. Altang is okay.
I ordered the seasoned chicken, but there was hardly any meat on it. It was disappointing; it felt as if they simply coated leftover bones in batter and fried them again. This practice is unprofessional and makes the restaurant appear disreputable.
On the downside, be prepared for a potential wait of 30 minutes on weekend evenings—something that's quite unusual for Korean restaurants outside of K-town. You might also find yourself needing to use the buzzer at your table, which I dread. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is still good but the draft beer needs some TLC. Had to settle for a bottle of beer cuz the draft beer was out of order. Love the food it is definitely a little pricey for the quality/quantity of the plates.
Ty's has been in business for over 15 years, and the food is consistently good. The staff is friendly, but there is room for improvement in terms of the food quality. Additionally, the prices seem a bit too high!
JJ is fantastic! The service is great, and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. Everything on the menu is full of flavor.
