On this occasion, the waiter seemed rushed and barely had time for us. No one mentioned the specials, and the overall service felt perfunctory and almost dismissive. Although people asked how we were enjoying the food, they rushed past us so quickly that we barely had time to respond. It was clear that they were merely going through the motions, showing little genuine interest in our experience. As for the food, it was acceptable but not worth the price we paid, especially given the lackluster service. The so-called South African shrimp appeared to come from the pygmy coast rather than the prized deep-water variety that is typically cherished. The noise level was quite high, exacerbated by...
I was very disappointed that when we told them that we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out a chocolate cake that we didn’t ask for, served three small slices of the cake (that we didn’t like) and charged $33.00 for. When we were leaving we were told that we could have ordered our own desserts. However, we were not given dessert menus and the cake just arrived accompanied by the singing waiters.
We opted to sit outside on a beautiful late summer evening. Our server was attentive and engaging, making our experience even more enjoyable. It was evident that he took great pride in his work, and his enthusiasm for the menu was well-founded. The food was absolutely delicious.

The truffle raviolis have to be the best raviolis i’ve ever had in my life. The flavor was amazing and they melted in your mouth. The food in general was great and everyone was super friendly and helpful! Would totally recommend to friends and family.
Il Postino is a wonderful throwback in time to old world service and ambience with attentive waiters , dim lighting and white cloth tables. It’s a great reprieve from loud trendy pretentious restaurants. The crowd is local and lovely. A true favorite
