Terrible experience. We have been coming to this restaurant for a while now and lately it has been hit or miss. However, last night was absolutely dreadful. Our starters were incorrect and when they finally arrived, they were cold after 45 minutes of waiting. One of the starters was missing the side salad as well. The staff failed to clear our dishes and instead became distracted by their delivery orders over the phone. They did not ask us how our starters were either. When we complained, they offered a discount but the wait for our main dishes was long. In the meantime, we could hear loud arguments coming from the kitchen which was quite unpleasant. They even locked the kitchen door at one...
Ordered online. Food turned up 90 mins later. Tried multiple times to contact the restaurant but they didnt pick up. When it eventually turned up it was luke warm and part of the order was incorrect Shame because this was our go to place in Lynn for a curry but we won't be ordering again. If you're hungry and want an idea of when your food will arrive, don't order from here.
Me and my Daughter dropped in yesterday 11.2.23 at 5.30pm and the place was empty apart from one couple. I asked if we could have a table for 2 but we hadn't booked, the man replied we are fully booked, so I said we will only be an hour but he wasn't interested. I have been going here for years, but that will be the last time I set foot in the place.
Recent new management has made a remarkable improvement to the India Gate. I have been three times over the past couple of months and each time the food and service has been just wonderful. We had a wonderful dining experience with our family at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the dinner was superb. Despite not being a fan of Indian cuisine, we all thoroughly enjoyed the food we had.
It was a Saturday night walk in without a booking. My wife and I were lucky to get a table and were seated quickly. The the service and food were very good. Would recommend.
Basically stole our money, food ordered and paid for, never delivered. Phoned restaurant to ask where it was, hung up phone. Do not bother very disappointed and hungry.
The takeout experience was fantastic, the chicken bhuna was cooked to perfection with tender meat in a flavorful thick sauce. I highly recommend it! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
