Onion bhajis..dry and flavourless Poppadoms...old and not crispy Balti chicken..was like eating a bad school dinner. Service poor at best I went to toilet going through other part of restaurant where the waiters were eating ..which would explain aforementioned poor service as staff were too busy having a meal to bother with customers I have enjoyed countless curries in many places including the India Palace but last night's meal rates as the worst ever curry I have ever had..maybe I was just unfortunate and they were having an off day but I will not be returning to find out.
The food was just as delicious as always, and we were also impressed with the Covid safety measures in place. The staff wore masks and gloves and made sure not to lean over us at any point. We have visited other restaurants where this was not the case. The tables were spaced out well, especially considering the small size of the restaurant. Kudos to the entire staff for their efforts.
Items were missing from our order, when I called i was promised the missing items in 15 minutes which didn't happen. Called back 45 mins later to be told it would be sent within 15 mins again!! An hour and a half after the delivery the missing items did not arrive!! Gave up and ate the food I had after having to reheat.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant last night, and I'm not sure how it has won any awards based on the meal I received. It was the worst curry I have ever had. Perhaps it was just an off night or a different chef, but I won't be taking the risk of ordering from there again.

Tasty and fresh meal. Covid safety procedures in place. Shame the air con isn’t working but staff tries hard to cool the restaurant with fans. We were so hot we left straight after our main as needed to get out. So you may want to check the air con is fixed before booking.
Didn't do the option of booking a table and then legging it shortly after but a take away and portions were shocking Chicken Vindaloo 5 pieces of chicken less than 100 Grams and 2 pieces of Spud for 7.95. Avoid to be honest , response from Management was dire
Food is fabulous. Cocktails were delicious. Service is a little slow and you order one course at a time but it means lots of time for talking and there's not rushed feel. Will try the delivery option next, might be our new Indian option.
Great food as always only a shame it had to be takeaway rather than sat in the restaurant. Hot and fresh tasting chicken tikka dhansak was very good and loads of it !! Would recommend

Fantastic meal great starters followed by salmon tikka service excellent staff very good would definitely recommend
