Firstly we went to this restaurant based on past very good experience, the food was nothing like the standard it has been in the past. When asked by a partner owner how was the food, I suggested “very average and not what it was” I was met with this response “well mate, that’s up to the chef, there’s nothing I can do, nothing has changed” to which I suggested it has, given our past experience. I was then met with “oh well! what do you want me to do about it” The food was dry and burnt, the king prawns are chopped in to small pieces, of which there were a tiny handle in there. Really not a pleasant experience. Head of house had a slight arrogance but the food was very poor. Mixed grill was completely dry and burnt and hard to tell what was prawn,lamb or chicken. So over cooked in fact that the prawns all clumped into one dry strip. My friends curry was cold and my husband Pathia not nice at all very little depth of flavour. Not a nice atmosphere in the near empty restaurant. If we hadn’t been with friends I would have complained and now wished I had as it was shocking. The Bombay potatoes looked like frozen roast potatoes fried off with a bit of spice. Just embarrassing.
I went with four adults and two kids to this restaurant. I had driven past it many times on my way to work and always wondered what it was like. I finally decided to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. The interior decor was excellent, the staff were great, and the food was one of the best curries I have ever had. If you're craving curry in Harlow, this is the place to go.
We placed an order for pick-up at a specific time to ensure the food would be hot, but unfortunately, it was cold when we arrived to collect it. The temperature was so low that we ended up throwing out most of the meal. We came for a birthday meal on Saturday 16th April, and the food was faultless. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was delicious, pricing was reasonable. Premises were clean and tidy. We had starters, mains and drinks. Was just a really lovely evening all round. Would definitely be back again more often.
The customer service at this restaurant was fantastic, with all the staff being very friendly. The food was delicious, and the interior decor was also impressive. The bathrooms were equally well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, making for a great photo opportunity.
Fantastic place with delicious food, good hospitality and ambience. The restaurant is nicely decorated, definitely one of my favourite place and I will certainly return again soon! Thank You everyone for looking after us,
