Coming from the UK my wife and I are looking for the closest we can get to an "English" Indian Curry.You have to understand that curry house dishes vary according as to what area of India the chef is from. For instance the very same dish cooked by a chef from Northern India will taste somewhat different when cooked by a chef from Souther India.I asked for a "Madras" ... and yes, it did taste different to an "English" Madras, but it was nonetheless very flavoursome. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Recommended
Our family has been dining here for over 10 years...it is just about once a week affair for us. Takeaway is equally delicious and portions are generous. Consistently the food is never a disappointment, I have a tendency to order the Lamb Saagwala, Chicken Saagwala, Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken with steamed rice or coconut rice....yum. Don't forget the Naan breads. As we completed our meals this past Sunday my father-in-law which has worked and lived in India stated the meals are to perfection. You will not be disappointed.
We have been going to the Indian Whisper since just after it opened and have neverhad a bad meal, either eating in or taking out. The owner is always very pleasant and makes you feel very welcome. The lunch menu is very comprehensive as you can choose off the main menu at a very reduced price. The size of the meal is ideal for lunch. The meat and chicken are always tender and fat free and the sauces are superb.
Food was given a 1 hr arrival after placing order. Food arrived over 50mins AFTER the expected arrival time. Rang up once order was 20mins late and were told it was 10 minutes away and hung up on. Food took 30mins to arrive after the checkup call. Missing a naan bread in the order for one guest (weren't good anyway- burnt and cold). One curry was quite nice (mild mango chicken), the other 2 average.

A girlfriend and I shared an entrée, main and rice last week and were underwhelmed with all three. The Onion Bhatia had no flavour, our curry, a Lamb Saagwala was more sauce than lamb and the rice just ok. We wondered why there was no one else in the restaurant at the time and now we guess that the locals have wised up and moved on and we shall do the same.
We dined with our daughter, besides taking over an hour to get our mains and requested no Coriander & received coriander in our vegetarian dish & it was replaced. The meals was below average and service was poor and with poor communication skills with not explaining the Groupon deal well.
Dinner for 6 people for my daughters 21st Birthday. It was my daughters suggestion to go there for dinner. As usual , great food and good personal service. Will keep going back as often as possible. Best Indian food on the Coast for sure.....
Went to dinner with another family and all loved it. Great food !!!!! The service was casual and polite, and the food was fresh and delivered to table very quickly. would definitely go again. Highly recommended .....

Delicious, freshly prepared food served by the host / chef Dipak. Excellent quality and very good value. You can enjoy every type of Indian bread and a tandoor oven to prepare them! You will not be disappointed.
Lamb is superb here. The curries have incredible flavour and the naans are made to perfection. Restaurant staff was really pleasant. Definitely going back there again :)
