Order three vegetables Pakoras for an Iftari event, it was so embarrassing they were all bitter and burned. The day after I went in person at first the front desk agreed to give three meals proper Pakoras. I asked I got that for an event I don’t need that much Pakora she was rude and said can only give me one meal of Pakora I refused and told her I am going to write an review she was it’s ok do whatever you want to!Zero honesty in business, attitude, and food quality is really bad I wouldn’t bother going again. And not suggesting to anyone.
I’ve never noticed a restaurant ripping people off like this on the delivery apps. I understand that the price is usually higher by a little bit, maybe a dollar or two. Here what they’re doing is atrocious all the dishes were $5 or $6 more than in store. Even for naan and rice and they almost doubled the price. I thought it was expensive but was ordering to surprise a friend so thought maybe it was just better quality. That’s not the case. I wouldn’t consider giving this place my business again on that fact alone.
I was disappointed with this restaurant. The amount of food they provide for the price is deceptive. I paid $17 for a butter chicken dish that looked like only half a portion. When I ordered 2 portions of sweets through a delivery service, I received only 2 pieces of sweets, not 2 portions. Inflation is one thing, but even compared to other restaurants in the city, the quantity of food provided is insufficient. It's understandable not to want to run at a loss, but profiting in this way doesn't seem right either.
We visited this restaurant over the weekend. I enjoyed their Zaika grill, although I requested it to be medium spicy and found it a bit too hot for my taste. However, my daughter enjoyed it. I also liked their garlic and potato Naan, although I have had better ones at other Indian restaurants. Overall, I liked the experience but I cannot give it a five-star rating compared to other Indian restaurants.
We used to go to South Surrey for great Indian food, but now our new favorite spot is Indian Zaika. The food is consistently delicious, but be sure to clarify your spice preferences in the notes. There are plenty of vegetarian options available, as is typical for Indian cuisine. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the location on a one-way street just off the main road.

Food was amazing...I was actually very surprised at how good it was. We ordered Shahi paneer, lamb biriyani, and dal makhani. Kids loved it so much. Highly recommend this restaurant.Server was very good also.
I was craving curry and ordered the mango chicken and I woke up in the middle of the night beyond sick and was stuck in bed all day will not take a chance on them cooking the chicken enough again ??
The dining experience was very good! The drink i had was delicious and the soup and rice were cooked perfectly. Also the service was great.
