I have tried so many times to give these guys a go, but the service here is absolutely terrible. It 's as if the owner has gone out of his way to hire the rudest, crankiest staff, that make you feel like it is a privilege for them to take my order. Today was the last time I normally avoid this place but when I walked past today I noticed they had smoked salmon on brioche. Staff working in this venue obviously don’t understand the concept of good customer service. There is no sense of urgency and none of them seem to know what a smile is. Food comes out at alll different ends of the counter but no one tells you about this upon ordering therefore food just gets left sitting there. Ingredients that were promised on menu items were left out of food creating a flavourless breakfast. When approached staff about this there was not offer to make a new one they just dumped the cold ingredients on top of what was supposed to be a hot breakfast. I recently moved to Barangaroo and tried Iron Grill for my first coffee. I was impressed with their excellent coffee and food options. There are other coffee shops in the area that I still need to explore, but Iron Grill really stood out to me.

Got the Iron Grill burger last week. For $10, it was well well well worth the price. The burger has 2 huge patties, and for $10, you cant go wrong! Oh, and it tasted pretty **** good too! Highly recommended....
Very underwhelming. Ordered the steak burger and chips. The chips were way too salty and the burger was bland. So many other better options around. Even though the food is cheap, it’s not worth it.
Best burgers and chips, at best price in city or even Sydney for that matter. Get the iron grill burger with egg and bacon... It's awesome. But like those kiddie burgers at burger project.

I frequently visit this restaurant when I'm in Sydney. The service, value, and food are all excellent. I highly recommend trying the omelettes for breakfast - they are fantastic.
Not impressed at all. Ordered Greek meatballs. Burnt. No utensils. Olives from the salad were good. So was the lemon lime bitters soda. No thankful.
