Amazing food! Delicious, great quality, good portions, cooked perfectly But they apos;re super expensive! So we can apos;t eat here very often, especially DD, because what we ordered costs 20 more on DD than dine in. Wish we could choose our sides for the family meals. The only way we could order the family steaks salmon with Mac cheese, was to pay more for the other sides we didn apos;t like/want that come with it (fried rice spicy green beans) then had to just throw those away. Wasted food wasted money, so that was kind of a bummer. Better to have some options.
I have dined at this restaurant over 10 times and each visit has been fantastic, so I felt it was time to give them some well-deserved praise in a review. I love the diverse range of options on the menu, but it's the consistently delicious and high-quality food that keeps me returning. The service is always friendly and efficient, with the manager, Jason, regularly checking in to ensure our experience is top-notch. I've attached a photo of the latest dessert I enjoyed. Highly recommend this place!
This place is amazing! After searching Yelp for Brandy Fried Chicken, we found Iron Horse Tavern in Folsom. They serve brandy fried nuggets, which were delicious. We also tried the sweet and spicy shrimp, cheesy bread, and a half salad with fresh greens, Bleu cheese, dried cranberries, and balsamic vinegar dressing. Our server was excellent and helped us navigate the menu. Friendly service, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere - we will definitely be returning!
The food at this restaurant is amazing, the staff is very friendly, and the drinks are also good. The atmosphere is very modern. I wish I had discovered this place earlier! The Korean Fried Chicken was just the right amount of spicy, and the fried egg added a nice richness that complemented it well. The cheese bread had a deliciously salty and savory taste. In my opinion, this is one of the better restaurants in Folsom. The food is decent and the portions are good, but it appears that they have changed their beignet recipe. The beignets are not as soft as they used to be and were over-fried. The prime rib sandwich is consistently good, while the short rib stroganoff was a bit bland and dry.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. You must try the sweet and spicy shrimp, it's a must-have. The Tavern's cheese bread is decent, but it was a bit too heavy. A definite must-try is the roasted salmon. And don't miss out on the incredible caramelized carrots with black garlic demi sauce.
The fish did not meet my expectations given the price. It was not fresh and the flaked crumbled cod did not taste good. It lacked flavor and had a metallic taste. I ended up throwing it out.

Cubano had way too much mustard. French fries were all soggy (they were not in the past). The mac and cheese trio was very bland. Quality and taste has gone down.
