Filipino Cuisine, and a Rewards program ! Isla in San Bruno, CA is most deserving of 5 Stars in all of the categories! Arrived hungry at lunch time, 12:30pm. Was immediately seated and welcomed into a vibrant wholesome family atmosphere. Ordered the following: • Tocilog • Pancit Palabok • Ultimate Ginataang Gipon • Halo Halo (topped with Ube Ice Cream and Leche Flan) Delicious flavor combinations with the food arriving less than 6 minutes after being seated, Wow … a round of applause One, two, three, four, FIVE Stars ! First time ever having Filipino food. Let me say that Isla did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the ambience was very nice. I ate here in Early August. Now I’m back in the bay from Washington, D.C. for a few days and I’m taking my wife to eat there. I can’t wait to feast! I’ll add a second review then or maybe I’ll let the Mrs. do so.
Not a Filipino food expert, but I know good food. I had adobo chicken, bbq pork, stewed beef, lumpia, grilled shrimp and pancit. Everything is served with rice. Flavor was great, fried foods weren’t over cooked. Great place for a group of people to eat.
This is my family’s go-to Filipino restaurant in the Bay Area. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. And did I mention the food is amazing?! I love that this place has plenty of space for their customers. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Celebrated my friend's birthday here. The staff were very nice. Food were great, we got the bilao #4, price is good, the amount of food on hilao is good for 6 people. Lol. More sawsawan options please.
Phone always busy can’t even make any phone call order! Guy who takes orders is very rude and needs a lot of practice on communicating with customers most specially if they are selling service.
Great place for big groups and large platters. Lechon kawali, pinakbet and pancit were awesome. Make sure to have the kare kare oxtail with shrimp sauce. The two go great together.
