I went here with Anita. for lunch before we did the Cape Woolamai walk. The decor was like your typical burger place. I ordered the classic beef and my friend Anita ordered the tofu with grilled vegetables instead of avocado. <br/ <br/ My beef patty was nice and pink in the middle and it was yummy. The burger was good but not the best I've ever had, I couldn't taste the relish that well. I tried Anita's tofu burger and it was nice but I liked mine better hehehe. We also ordered chips to share. They were well cooked, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, they were also well seasoned. Centrally located on the island, I came here with colleagues for a quick meal. The staff was friendly and promptly guided us to our table. Loved it! Queens bday weekend and most places were booked out or packed out. Decided on burgers at Island burger bar and we were very happy. <br/ Served us quickly and made us feel welcome, even though we were ordering for over 10 people, and kept changing our minds. Female server was patient and joking with us happily. <br/ <br/ It was a take out order and we watched them prepare and pack. Super organised, super fast and fresh. They have been doing this a while it seemed. <br/ The whole lit was devoured very quickly on return to the hotel and everyone remarked they were awesome burgers. Even the veggie liked his! <br/ Highly recommend this place.
I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Philip Island and suddenly had a craving for a burger. After searching online for burger places, I came across one with "burger" in its name, which seemed promising. Upon arrival, I found the atmosphere cozy and relaxed, giving off a vacation vibe. The quirky decor was also intriguing. My partner and I each ordered the Aussie Beef burgers, and they were quite good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, especially since I saw them preparing the patties right in the restaurant. The servings of large chips were generous as well. We dropped in for a burger in our way home and we were pleasantly surprised. The onion rings were excellent came with bbq sauce.The fat chips were also perfect were served with a lovely mayonnaise.There is seating out the front or a rather funky beer garden out the back.My Americana burger was fat, juicy and tangy thanks to some awesome pickles. We also ordered the Australiana burger which was hoovered up and much loved.Casual eating with some nice surprises.
I recently discovered a new favorite lunch spot on the island. The beautiful beer garden in the back is the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious homemade burger. They also offer a variety of dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free, which is a nice change from many places. I will definitely be returning!
Yum! Friendly service, good prices, ample portions. I ordered the fried tofu burger but with no avocado. The man substituted the avo with roasted veg, which was lovely. The chips were sooooo good, too. Sarah Loves Food ordered the classic burger, which was tasty (I had a bite). A very cute, little joint.
If we ever get take away this is the place we go! Kids love the smaller version kids chicken schnitzel burger and chips we adults love the Woolamai Burger the best! These guys have the best sweet potato fries you will ever have in your life. Quality, fresh and healthy burgers. Service has been friendly every time I've been (which is a lot), they do get pretty busy on long weekends so I always make a phone order to avoid the wait.
